ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification obtained
Since June 2016, Peercode has been officially ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certified.
With this quality mark, we demonstrate that our information security satisfies all standards requirements. We can therefore offer our clients the maximum security for the storage of their data on our servers. ISO/IEC 27001 is the internationally recognised standard for the Information Security Management System (ISMS)
The wish to offer clients insight into the processes regarding information security and an increasing demand for this certification during tendering were the main reason for Peercode to initiate the certification process last year.
The ISO 27001 standard focusses on a process-based approach to planning, implementation, use, monitoring, evaluation and maintenance and on the continuous improvement of the management of the information security.
For Mark Ruys, Security Office and Lead Software Development at Peercode, obtaining this ISO certificate was an important step: “For our clients, it is of the utmost importance that their data be adequately secured. This management system for information security offers us the freedom to grow, to innovate and to further expand our customer base, in the knowledge that all confidential data actually remains confidential.”
